Note on fruit trees: I have nearly every kind of fruit tree that grows in HI. Also there are many yellow and white pineapple plants. And bananas galore- Apple, Cuban red and Chinese. There are several walking paths along which vireyas, palms, bananas and hibiscus have been planted.
A highlight is a vertical lava wall along the walkway that would serve nicely as a backdrop for orchids.
Hot Pond!!! Fifteen minutes away from my lot is a volcanically heated hot pond the size of a football field. Temps around 90 deg F. Surrounded by palm trees, connected to ocean by small channel. Float in the moonlight. . . Locals love it, tourists rarely know about it. And not far from it are tide pools that are fun to snorkel- coral, colorful fish.
